Personality:
Sami's not a very complicated girl, but man is she a tough one. She has a HUGE sense of duty that she'll do almost anything to uphold, she can strategize almost like the best of them, she's fast, and she's pretty darn sneaky. All her special forces training hasn't left a lot of room for things like fashion and etiquette, though, so she can be pretty rough around the edges. While she tries hard to be a Professional Young Lady, she's... A pretty big tomboy. Sami doesn't really enjoy the whole "paint our nails and talk about boys" thing very much and she has some trouble adapting to civilian things. Despite her plethora of military knowledge, she's not the best at normal schoolwork like English and math -- the school lobe of her brain is a little underdeveloped. She tries hard, as she does with everything, but advanced algebra and poetry and stuff takes a long time to sink in.

Sami has a bit of a temper, but it doesn't flare up often. Cowardice and slacking off get her angry fast, and once she gets going it's hard to stop her. She can rant and rave like the best of them if something upsets her, and other COs can confirm that she's pretty scary when she's mad. She's trying hard to curb a bad potty-mouth habit (by substituting the swears with words like FIDDLESTICKS and DOGGONE) because Professionals Don't Use Swears, but from time to time she'll spit out stuff that would make sailors blush if she gets angry enough. She accepts apologies quicker than she really should (when Eagle apologizes for attacking Orange Star she just replies with "uh... ok") and she's a little gullible in that respect, so tricky people get her pretty flustered.

She's very supportive of her friends, and she'll back them up every chance she gets. A friend in need is a friend indeed, after all, and even if she gets mad at them or pokes fun (hi Andy) she still cares for her pals a lot. She gets routinely overconfident in her friends' abilities (as well as her own), and she'll always reject the "sappy speech because we don't know if we're going to live through this dangerous event" spiel no matter what. EVERYTHING'S GOING TO BE FINE BECAUSE YOU'RE GREAT SHUT UP. She's often the voice of "KNOCK IT OFF WE'VE GOT WORK TO DO" rather than reason when it comes to peer mediation.

When it comes to pep talks, Sami's a good person to have around. She's an optimistic gal and it's easy for her to find the good in something. When she's not getting hung-up on battles or lecturing people about how she had to bust her rump to cover for them while they were sleeping on the job (hi again Andy), she's pretty laid-back. She tries to take negativity in stride and roll with the punches, but when she it's time to get serious she will NEVER GIVE UP and NEVER SURRENDER. Sami practically laughs in the face of danger ("hey Sonja after this could you help me with my math homework" "WE COULD DIE DURING THIS BATTLE WHAT ARE YOU DOING") and she doesn't waste time telling people off, even if she's only known them for a whole five minutes (after battling Eagle's troops for the first time she tells him to go back to basic training).

Her CO powers rely heavily on her infantry troops, so she has some admirable leadership skills. Under tough conditions she can motivate even the troops that are hurting the most to rush a relatively long distance and capture an enemy base. This doesn't always mean heartfelt motivational speeches -- she's got an impressive set of pipes and she won't hesitate to shout if it'll help get her point across.

Once upon a time in a land far, far away Sami was born an army brat. Her parents were both in the Orange Star army and she grew up on its bases. She wasn't the best in school, but she excelled in things like lunch and P.E. and she was totally jealous of nerds like Sonja (and the pretty upperclassmen like Nell). School was boring unless she was learning about the military or anything related to the military.

As such, she drafted herself into the Orange Star army as soon as she was able. After basic training she spent a little while as an infantry soldier, but was quickly invited to train as a Commanding Officer. She excelled as a CO and became acquainted with others of her kind throughout Macro Land (just basic information about other armies; her relationship with other countries was strictly professional/diplomatic), and everything was good.

She decided to undergo Special Forces training a long while before the events of Advance Wars; it took her a long time to graduate but she became the Special Forces commander of Orange Star, which means she's the one in charge of infiltration, reconnaissance, and other sneaky activities of that nature. She took on a number of specialized missions as training ("You can never have too much training") -- so many that she was the last of the three Orange Star COs to make an appearance in the game. During the first game she met many of the COs she didn't know already and contributed in the combined effort to defeat Sturm's troops: and the events of Advance Wars 2 and Dual Strike strengthened the bond between them all (except Black Hole, those guys are jerks) -- Sami became much closer friends with Sonja and Eagle, specifically.

After the events of Dual Strike she came to Smash Academy for a while along with many other Commanding Officers wanting to learn a few new things. A few wacky adventures were had, but she had to leave abruptly to help defend Orange Star and conduct Special Forces missions (at the time, there were a few COs missing and someone had to pick up the slack). Now that things are taken care of, Sami expressed a desire to come back and check out the school, see what had changed, and pitch in where she could. And, you know, maybe pick up a few new tactics or two.

Anything Else?:
*She's completed special forces training in Orange Star, which means she got a lot of training in fighting and spying and... armying. Wikipedially speaking, she's cut from the same cloth as such cool cats as Metal Gear's Snakes and Rambo!

An in-depth description of her CO Powers/Tags with other COs

CO Description from Advance Wars: Dual Strike
A strong-willed Orange Star special forces captain who loves long hair.

Hit: Chocolate
Miss: Cowards

As an infantry specialist, her foot soldiers do more damage and capture faster. Non-infantry direct-combat units have weaker firepower.

[As soon as the webcam turns on and she's sure it's recording, Sami gives it a stiff, over-official salute.]

Commanding Officer Sami, reporting for duty!

... ... Just kidding. [She relaxes and lets out a sheepish laugh, then clicks around on the computer for a second.] So, uh... What's going on? I guess it'd be kind of silly to ask what I've missed, 'cause it's a lot. But I finally got some spare time to visit, so... Here I am!

I'm going to be taking a couple of classes here while I help out. There are so many more classes than I remember... What do you guys recommend?

-- Oh, yeah! I almost forgot... Hey, Max! How's the teaching life?

In-Character 3rd person writing post:
one day sami was an office with wepon

The kitchen wasn't exactly where Sami's strengths laid. Just looking at a cookbook made her eyes glaze over, but actually reading one? This was a horror worse than war. She had all but completely raided the refrigerator for ingredients but once she laid them all out she just... stared at them.

After much contemplation she picked up a couple of eggs as if she were handling grenades and tried to crack them into a bowl. ...And then she immediately tried to fish all the eggshell out of it. "Son of a--" Sami huffed and gave up, "A little texture won't hurt anybody."

Then came the measuring! Except she didn't. She just dumped things into the bowl until it looked like she had enough, and when she tried to mix everything together, she grumbled and added water to the bowl until it would stir.

The monstrosity she pulled out of the oven when it was finished was somehow lumpy and runny at the same time, and it smelled like burning. Without hesitation, she dropped the entire thing into a garbage can, pan and all.

It was... Not a piece of cake to bake a pretty cake.
